    How strange is this?
MON interviewed on SSN disappointed not to get something from the game and thought if the earlier chances had been taken we could have won it.
He agreed with me about a little more composure in our finishing would have helped.

I went into the game not expecting anything yet thought we deserved a share of the points minimum.
But oddly I am not too disappointed, as once again we showed some excellent team ethic.
Couple of under par performances apart, thought we did well.

I think MON needs to get his feet on the ground we are Sunderland we shouldn't be expecting to win against the likes of Chelsea.
At least Bruce would have had 9 players behind the ball and played to keep the score down, then blamed the fans when we lost!

Get your priorities right MON, if you continue in this vein you may persuade those supporters who think Sunderland should just accept mediocrity, to look to the top half of the table and not just accept not being relegated, like under Bruce.

Surely it shows how ambitious he is. No harm is saying what he has said.

Agree with MON...we should have got something out of the game!!With a better striker,we would have done...Bendtner should have scored and got us a draw at least!!But,hey, how far have we come when we are disappointed by losing 1-0 at Chelsea???

Terry must be untouchable by the refs, or something is going on we do not know about to make sure Chelsea make the champions league again!.

I'm loving the fact isn't accepting mediocrity. I love how he is aways pushing for a win, to get a goal in the final minutes. Bruce would have accepted defeat after 15mins when they scored. By MoN not accepting anything less than 100%, he is putting a winning mentality into the team. Just what we need after the last year of Stevie.

I thought some of O'Neill's comments were a bit over the top, and basically straight up insulted some of his players in public. I presume he just said it in the heat of the moment.

Now I thought he was pot on and showed his players the other side, praise and arm round the shoulder yes but they now know they must also deliver. He said what we all thought, chances there but not taken and they are paid to take them, thats what is expected.
