<peacedove>Every one praying for Chelsea to win last night, but the devil inside John Terry cannot do but reveal itself.
" I have raised my knee, which maybe I should't have done" said John Terry. Can he not see Alexi Sanchez immediately in front
of him?.John Terry action put unnecessary pressure on his team mates. If Chelsea had lost they may never forgive him.
Now John Terry is going to miss the final.
Also he is unlikely going to be the first to lift the cup first if chelsea wins it.
Other footballers must learn from this.

I liked his quote "You can ask anyone who knows me, I'm not that sort of player." No John, you are the sort of player who sleeps with team mates lady friends and abuse people.

That's got to be the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.
Seriously, what world do these people live in? Have they somehow forgotten that everything they do is analyzed to death?
Terry has been "that sort of player" for all to see for years now.

STOP THE PRESS! TERRY IS A CO*K - EXCLUSIVE!

The only surprise is that people are surprised - Terry has proved himself to be a bell end over and over again!?

For me it was the nature of it, from behind and he thought he was being oh so clever, did the lino see it or did the ref?

Unlike Gerrard who beats up a DJ with the backing of 5 of his mates and Suarez's racist abuse of Evra.

I don't think the ref saw any of it, the linesman just told him what happened.

It was the 5th official, the guy who stands behind the goal, who told the ref what had happened

this is complete bull.. terry is such filth.

Anyone.. ANYONE who saw the incident would see that raising his knee was a complete unnatural act in the movements that were being made at that time. the ball is in midfield and mr terry has decided to punish snachez for his dive a few moments earlier and he deliberately assualts the guy with a knee in the back.

even the most ardent chelsea fan could have to be deluded not to see that.

    This is the guy who:

    a) the fa failed to take action against but hid behind a polic charge.
    b) the guy who the fa removed the need for a hand shake with anton ferdinand and will no doubt do the same again this sunday.
    c) the guy who did the dirt on a team mate.
    d) was caught using vidoe cameras in corfu... a charge recently another less famous footballed got 5 years for.

here is a you tube link to look at a laugh.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ENZ-3KHnMo&feature=endscreen&NR=1

this guy should NVER be playing for england and i hope uefa throw the book at him for this blatent assualt... but then the fa would only interceed ala rooney to get him off eh?

Terry isa perfect example of what is wrong with our society today. He went out of his way to plant one on sanchez... no matter what you think of sanchez's antics this is equally unacceptable yet terry is shocked and bemused by the ref.

    typicla init?

i can't wait for england with redknapp and terry.... and gerrard to do the needful at the euros and prove what i think right.

No. They all waded in. Does the fact that his mates weren't holding the DJ make Gerrards behaviour ok then?

Does Gerrard's behaviour make Terry's ok, then? This is a thread discussing John Terry's actions. Citing the actions of others does not mitigate against the severity of his.

Of course it doesn't excuse terry's actions. I'm just pointing out that he isn't the only one who'se been a prat.

Reminds me of when the Dutch league player assaulted Gerrard's fist with his face and had the audacity to blame it on Gerrard!

It's comprende. And you should have followed it with a question mark.
It doesn't do to be patronizing when you can't carry it off.

For what it's worth, I was surprised Gerrard got away with it, but it was a court of law and we don't know the full story. Terry will get his chance with the same system over his racist allegations. Suarez was denied this and hung out to dry by a kangaroo court that had decided he was guilty before they'd even heard the evidence.
None of which has any bearing on the subject of this thread. It's understandable that people want to defend their own, but you have to come up with a cogent argument to do so. Deflecting the attention onto others is simply weak.
