Livermore Macca Boyd Im sorry but Elmo has to get on the training pitch for his crossing , i lost count of the number of crosses he had under relatively little pressure for him to over hit almost every cross - bar the one cross where he was forced to the touchline.. Come on Elmo you got it in ya !
Well done guys, pleased for Steve Bruce, he's had more than his share of baiting from those mackems. Enjoy MOTD tonight <from a geordie>
Sagbo (looked very sharp in first half...great control) Livermore (was everywhere, nearly had two goals) Huddlestone (dominated MF again). Special mention to Harper for saving the win...and sparing us our blushes!!
Hard to call this week, no one particularly stood out. Livermore Sagbo Harper McShane and Davies went about their business well but were rarely threatened, I also thought Meyler was decent in the first half.
Agreed Sagbo-already said earlier some incredible first touches in tight places. Anonymous second. Livermore Huddlestone-dominated midfield both halves. Re Elmo had a great first half. But as others have pointe out woeful crosses in the second.
seems that every post on every thread is being reposted several times. any motm was any player who managed to stay on the field after the sunderland thugs had tried to ruin the game
