Feeling very hollow at today's result - this above all was a must win and I fear it's the straw that broke the camel's back. Didn't see the game and so can't comment on the MotM, but feel utterly gutted for the fans that were there today. As has been said so may times, it's the hope that really gets to you, and after Southampton and Sunderland we really did seem to be on track. It's never over until the maths say it is, but tonight it really feels like it.
Who the hell has cast a vote for Cesar? Are you kidding me - he was absolutely awful in this game - if he was carrying an injury, and Green was obviously sick, Murphy should have started this game.
Come on, players on the same number of votes is no good for the end of season tally up (and there is currently no provision in the scoring system for it). I can't vote as I've only seen Match of the Day this morning and been unable to form any sort of impression, however Messrs Lineker, Dublin and the ever insightful (!) Shearer would definitely not be in the running.
I voted for Adel because when he came on he was focused and his incisive passing gave us real hope. Harry cannot ignore him. Adel just has to be made to play the right way, using his reading and insight for the game and reserving the trickery for the penalty box.
Two votes for Cesar.....? You must be kidding because he was awful. Guzan was from the different planet.
I agree. We need 6 or 7 wins now. I think we can get them, but to do that we got to use Adel. Personally particularly as Zamora ain't fit I'd use him as a false 9 - with Remy, Hoillet and Townsend playing off him ,there's plenty goals in this. MOM for us was probably Townsend, but Remy, Hill, Bos, Favio, Jenas and Adel all did pretty good.
