Didn't quite go to plan but could've been worse. I'll count up this one and Ipswich on Friday morning when my dissertation's submitted!
Quinn Chester Brady Shame Fathi gave the ball away so easy in such a dangerous place for the goal else he'd have won.
Weird feeling losing but being kind of happy, still we were ****e. Simpson should've started, we had no game changer on the bench and Koren isn't a striker. There are no stand-out candidates but I'll have a go: 1) Quinn 2) Hobbs 3) Faye
Just seen the highlights - we really should have avoided conceding. Fathi was a little unlucky getting caught in possession as it gets caught under his feet, but the rest leaves a lot to be answered. Chester leaves a massive gap for Doyle to run into and Elmo just jogs back when he should have been darting back, following Doyle's run. Stockdale probably should have done better too.
1. Quinn 2. Hobbs 3. Fathi Quinn never got any protection form the ref after 3 clatterings - think Wolves had targeted him as a danger. Fathi spread the ball around well, but nearly gave possession away a couple of times before the goal disaster. He tried a lot of longer passes than Evans does in that team position, some look great, but one or two nearly got intercepted. Hobbs was solid and tighter on his man than Chester was all game.
Quinn Brady Chester Not easy to pick for this one, it was all a bit messy. Poor decision to start Boyd and Koren up front, we looked like a team of midfielders, it was much better when Simpson game on. Fathi spent half the game looking like a world beater and half the game looking like he'd never played football before, pray he doesn't shoot at goal on Friday.
Sounded like the pre-Gedo-and-Boyd City. Played well but offered no goal threat even though the service was good. Koren starting and then getting injured can't have helped, as you say it sounded like it left us with no impact sub. When Proschwitz comes on you know it's desperate. Got to feel for the lad always getting thrown on to be our saviour when we're a goal down and it never works.
1) Fathi(so what he made One error ?) 2) Brady 3) Hobbs NB. re. Chester. He has had 2 dodgy moments imo in both the Ipswich and Wolves games. Chezza was slow to react for the Ipswich goal and against Wolves left Doyle far too much space. Just saying like. Chester will learn from it though.
I'd be calling for public execution via hang draw and quartering. The one with the bonus burn his intestines in front of his eyes.
