Not putting one in as I have not seen it, but good to see Paul McShane up there. Well done to Harper - a difficult game to come in on.
Didn't think we played badly up until the foolish penalty but lack of creativity and pace in CMF cost us again. No real standouts today but I'll go with Quinn....his best game this season. some nice crosses. Elmohamedy....his usual hard working two way performance Dawson...best of the defense.
1. McShane 2. Aluko 3. Quinn What the hell was that from Bruce? He'd played quite well to that point with a couple of his trademark tackles. It's becoming so tiresome (and actually embarrassing if talking to people who haven't watched the game), to continually speak of overall good performances/promising signs etc... and losing again! Clearly there is some bad luck involved but when will it turn?
I'm going with the opening poster, Davies Headband, as I could not pick anyone who deserved a point in this game. Maybe 1 for Harper for that save. I stated earlier in the season that if Danny Graham was all Sunderland had to bring on then they were doomed. After seeing Steve Bruce bring on Sagbo my heart sank. In view of our remaining matches I now fear the worst. And before anyone starts slinging sh i t at me, how much is Hernandez worth if he can't get a game in front of Sagbo? C'mon! Aluko ran around with his @rse on fire again but simply does not know the meaning of the word "pass"! It is a word that is simply not in his vocabulary and the only way he knows how to play is "Bound-for-Glory" every time he gets the ball. The commentator summed him up by saying that he had scored one goal in 19 months!
1) McShane 2) Quinn 3) Aluko nb. Huddlestone was my mom upto HT. Sadly he went missing in the 2nd half.
Yes re. Chester. Chester should replace Bruce for the Palace game for me now. In fact i would also consider starting Rosie @ Palace. We need to keep Zaha and Bolasie quiet.
