Lots of effort but no real quality or result - I'd go with Quinn; really disappointed as we are so much better than that. Onwards and upwards!

I'd say Chester was easily our man of the match. Special mentions must go to Macca & Daws for being utterly woeful.

    I'd go:

    1) Chester
    2) Quinn
    3) Aluko

As you can see, I was struggling by 3, thought Aluko came on and showed he should've started, he's just good to watch.
Today was disappointing but it's all too easy to forget that our 2 top scorers and captain are still injured.

    1. Quinn
    2. Chester
    3. Amos -apparently at fault for goal number 2; but I thought made some cracking saves.

People on the bus were voting McShane!!!! Hopefully as a piss take, he was dreadful. Where was Abdou Faye?!

    Quinn
    Chester
Elmo(I would have gone Aluko, but I he only got half an hour)

A blind man could see it wasn't working last night, not making the changes at half time was piss poor, we gifted them the game.

I always say change it at half time, but managers never do. Suppose they have to show a bit of faith.

What changes were needed OLM. I agree Mcleans role is 15-20 mins at the end. What was the major problem?

I will say it again but SB will be hammering on Allams door for a CM now, everything else develops from that role.

    1) Quinn (Ran and ran and ran. Also played left back for most of the game and has to be the best £300k that modern day Hull City have spent)
    2) Chester (Some unbelievable tackles)
    3) McLean (Despite that miss, he put a lot of work in and could have bagged a goal for his effort!)

The rest looked tired and out of sorts. Dawson's age has caught him up. Ditto McKenna. Evans to get the nod on Saturday. Elmo was spent after 60 mins. Rosenior looks a shadow of his former self. Although Macca didn't have a bad game, how did he not get his 'free' header in front of goal at their end before their break-away first goal? Why does Proswitch drop so deep? More strength in depth a necessity now!!!

We had no creativity at all, I'd have dropped Elmo to right back, switched Rosie for Aluko and put him out wide so Quinn could go more central(our midfield were invisible).

I'd have also got Simpson on, he can hold the ball up as well as Mclean, but he has far more chance of actually getting a shot on target.

The longer the season goes on, the more I miss Fryatt.

Think we'll see Townsend at left back at the weekend then if Dudge is injured?

How much longer can McLean be protected with the work rate excuse? For every goal he scores like at hillsborough, he misses 5 sitters my nan could score , and she's dead, if he never played again I'd be a happy man

I appreciate it may sound harsh, but Its just one too many open goals now and my patience has gone, people can make all the excuses about how fast the ball was going etc, but where a play off chasing championship side , not a league 2 side, it's embarrassing.. That's 4 I can recall now, Brighton away, donny at home and the last 2 games

Would be interesting if that was the case. I still think we need a half decent LB in January, as well as another centre midfielder. Could Brucey switch Elmo to LB?

He went for the ball with both head AND knee. One or the other and he would have scored. I still think we need someone else, McShane isn't good enough in my opinion. Abdoulaye Faye is 34 (?) and I feel 10x more comfortable when he's at the back. Bring back Jack Hobbs!

Steve Bruce said that he rested Faye for the Bristol game on saturday. ffs man Middlesboro was far more importamt.

The he took the energy we have up front out of the team. SB broke the No.1 rule in football and paid the price.

Ok he admitted he messed up afterwards but thats not good enough. The team were buzzing after saturdays late win over Ipswich. City missed Faye big time last night. Bristol are No Middlesboro and the changes should have been saved for that game. Lessons indeed need to be learned Mr Bruce.

Faye was left out as he was suffering from a knock, according to Burnsy.
