Chester Gedo Elmo Seriously questioning why anyone would choose Macca over Chester, twice in the first half he made mistakes that nearly lead to goals, where as Chester did a 70 yard cross field ball to Brady that Gerrard would be proud over. Chester will go to the Premier League if we don't. I thought Elmo's crosses where brilliant, and two in the first half deserved goals. Gedo just had brilliant movement, and ran their defence ragged and what a brilliant header.
Macca Macca Macca Yea you know what, someone behind me said that they are just voting for him for the sake of it now. That may well be true, but we have him a lot of stick over the last couple of years and he has been brilliant this year so he will be getting my vote for POTS.
Gedo - very classy player, just as I thought he might turn out but strong as an ox to go with it. Still early days yet. Hobbs - made a few fantastic, well timed and even last ditch tackles. Solid as a cock in the company of Kate moss in a bathtub. McShane - just for the Messi-esque bit of skill where he popped the ball over one then ran round another. Start him up front next to gedo on Saturday I excluded the first half from my vote, as it was that utterly painfully dreadfully ****e the only thing I could put that performance towards is crap of the match.
Agree with Bob, no one can get anything for the 1st half, it was utter ****e. So: 1) Gedo 2) Meyler 3) Brady
I thought Attwell was the worst ref in football...i was wrong. 1/Mcshane. Why ? We looked like a team feeling sorry for ourselves in that first half, except for one. 2/Gedo. I think he's going be to that striker we needed. 3/ Elmo.as ever !
This will be Chester's last season in the Championship, whether we go up or not. There was one chase back and tackle from Chester in the first half that was awesome, covering for Macca being out of position.
