In early days we had a vote but we don't now, got some good mods but also some bad ones that way. Now I ask the remaining mods on that board to suggest who they think would make a good mod and sometimes ask some long term board member's. Now when a mod leaves they usually have sorted a replacement so I just upgrade that person.
