Modric or nasri

If you could sign one of them, who would it be and why?

Personally I'd take modric.
First quite simply he's better.
He has an amazing range of passing.
He's a hell of alot more consistant.
He doesn't roll over and cry if he gets breathed on.
He'll fit into united team so much better and if we are talking about trying to fill scholes boots, modric fits the bill and i don't think nasri should ever be compared to the great Paul scholes... They are miles apart and completely different. players.

 

Modric...
He plays the central/deeper role that we need.
Not a better short passer than Nasri imo, but has a better range of passing.
Infact, out of all of our reported targets, Modric is the most complete.

He'd thrive at United and improve further at United.
But it seems he would cost a massive chunk of our budget.


We should have made more of and effort for Nuri Sahin though.
And I'd love Banega too.. But he's not on Fergie radar, it seems.

 

Yep funny u should mention sahin because I'm at work reading an interview in FFT with him right now.

I've always been a fan of Diego from Werder Bremen but I don't think he'd fit into the system the way modric would.
Modric also seems like a hard working true professional.
Nasri seems like a diving snood wearing donkey.

 

I think nasri (if playing centrally) is more suited to a 5 man midfield, but modric is more capable of dropping deeper and playing as a deep lying playmaker. Sahin would have been perfect, but ever banega is still out there...

 

Modric. Hes a class above Nasri in every way.

Whats the point in Nasri? Seriously?

and Im pretty sure hes one of the gooners who had a cry about us winning games last season.

 

Modric. I'm still not convinced we have actually made a move for Nasri. And I think we're only in for Nasri as a left winger, and possibly even to try and get Young to make more fuss to force his transfer through from Villa home quicker and maybe at a lower fee.

 

I won;t mind Nasri if he comes for 8million as reported.

Nasri. Modric is a quality player but for an attacking midfielder doesn't score enough goals.
