http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2145088/Luka-Modric-edges-closer-Spurs-exit.html He must have wished he played for Chelsea when we mauled 5puds at Wembley; and now as we enter CL final week he must regret his suspended sentence at 3PL. I think his destiny will be Manchester though.
IMO it's his last chance to move to a big club. It would be a shame if such a talented player was wasted and ended up winning nothing in his career. If we win on Saturday it'll definitely be worth a cheeky bid, like you I think he'll go to Manchester, probably United as they need a player like him.
Any big club really. They are ready to take the step up now, although at United they would both be immense. Just imagine Bale on the left and Modric/Scholes in the middle, they'd push City hard next season. But I think SAF would be able to control Bale's ego as you say and nurture him into a top talent. United's feeder club has always come good for them in the past so it could happen
Also seen this morning that Yaya Toure's agent has suggested that he's open to a move away from Citeh... "He has done all he can do at City and he needs new motivations, Toure could sign for many big clubs like Chelsea and Bayern Munich. Also, we would like to see Barca join the race." He added: "I have not spoken to Barca but they know the situation." My thoughts are that we shouldn't be too hasty in this transfer window but I have a feeling that City will do a couple of Robinho/Dzeko style deals i.e. they will outbid and give better wages to players rather than see them go to the competition, and I think Modric will be one of them
oh the daily fail saying modric's going, there's a suprise he's going when Levy decides, and he's decided he's staying.what part of no one is leaving do the media and you chav's not understand
You are not the brightest bulb in the box are you? If you don't make CL Modric or Bale will have to go. He'll move to a blig club which can win things
both will go nowhere,cl or not, they are both tied to long term contract's and as levy said they are going nowhere, we don't need to sell
I think Berbatov was the only one out of those we really fought to keep. When we named our prices of £18mill and £20mill for Carrick and Keane, respectively, and they agreed Levy nearly spat out his wheetabix So how are we United's feeder club then? 2 players moving in the last 5 years, you've had as many move to Real Madrid.
