Does that mean you'll be putting in an offer? Cheating seems to be a way of life with your collection of shaved apes.

Er.....Taking nothing away from Stoke, you beat us, well done, but....Did the Stoke player in this clip kick the ball? ...or Modric's leg? or Neither? Answer the question honestly, and understand why the penalty was rightfully given.

Then please do the same for Crouch's nudge with his hand, and the goal line clearance off the elbow. The foul on Kaboul inside the area etc. etc.

Know that the referee had a worse game than Spurs did.

    Modric did not cheat.

Well done again for the win.

Oh look the Kings of cheats and anti-football are trying to deflect from their disgraceful antics by blaming Modric for being fouled.

There is no depths they won't stoop to, I just pray they'll be stooping back to the lower divisions where they belong by the end of this decade.

You were played off the park. There was contact and it's a penalty. The ref and linesman won you the game with some disgusting decisions . This is coming from a neutral.

Used to have respect for Stoke, and quite liked their never say die attitude.
But after seeing that excuse for gamesmanship i'd say they were very lucky to finish the game with 11- 2 bookables for Woodgate, deliberate handball by Shawcross on the goal line and i'm not sure who dragged Kaboul to the ground but that was deliberate too.
To call Modric a cheat- think about the words pot- kettle- black!

I think you'll find kicking a standing leg instead of the ball is a foul, how he falls over after is irrelevant...a bit like the article. <doh>

  12. Suggest you head to Specsavers matey!
Stoke player caught his left ankle quite clearly.
More relevant was the total lack of complaint from Stoke....... methinks they might have been a bit more vociferous had there been no contact.

Was at the Britannia yesterday and I can honestly say I never realised just how much time wasting Stoke carry out in a game. Sure I knew the long punt stuff and their danger from set pieces and that's your strong points so I can understand you play that type of football but the amount of time you took for goal kicks and throw ons was appalling. Quite ironic you call Modric a cheat though when Crouch hand balled for the first goal, Shawcross hand balled off the line, Kaboul was pulled to the ground by Shawcross... Shocking stuff. Though that says more about the referee to be fair, awful game along with his blind linesman who flagged a clear onside goal as offside <applause>

Still we're in a good position and our second half performance was a credit to the lads after going two goals down, a couple of season back we would have chucked in the towel after half time and I was so glad the rest of the fans applauded our players off the park, they didn't deserve to leave empty handed but that's football for you.

Well done an' all for taking 3 points and stopping our run but I think with a more head strong referee, that game wouldn't have finished 2-1.

Stoke are a truly poor team. If all teams played this way I would not bother watching football

You know what Allstar when I've watched MOTD it looked as though Stoke play some decent football at times, but yesterday I can honestly say I was shocked at how boring their football is. Don't get me wrong they picked up 3 points so they'd have gone home happy and fair dues to them but I certainly hope we never see a Tottenham side play like that. All they needed was an oval shaped ball and they'll be rubber stamped as a rugby team.

Just an observation fellow Spurs fans, but have you noticed the OP and associates haven't posted for quite a while.
Maybe they have raised the white flag and admitted what we are saying is right.

    SoS, hi mate.

I was under the same illusion. Stoke seemed decant whenever i watched them on MOTD, but yesterday has changed my opinion vastly. Their entire game, without an ounce of exaggeration, is geared towards the hoof-ball approach. Its cringe worthy, i sat there in disbelief hearing their fans build up each throw in and getting excited as the ball was lumped up countless times. The "beautiful" game ruined.
