Modding Notice – The Fallout from the Commonwealth Games thread

Firstly apologies for the delay in getting this posted up but neither of us have been able to get on here until now, still just think of the fun you’ve all had speculating what is going on.

Who would have thought that a simple thread trying to establish whether the Commonwealth Games and para-games being run concurrently was normal could cause such a commotion? Only on here.

Quite why Swords thought that it was right to first try to attack Finglas before moving onto Col is beyond me, quite why Col rose to the obvious bait and let fly at him with both barrels is beyond me and quite why Queenslander thought it was OK to comment so abusively towards someone with a different point of view than him is beyond me. I was absent from the forum, so when Nines returned from a long and demanding shift and logged on he was not amused to read the havoc that these three had unloaded. Rather than try to work through the rights, wrong and respective level of guilt he simply applied for a 2 week ban for each of them. To their credit both Swords and Col have apologised, with Swords admitting full responsibility and both volunteered to take a break from the forum.

Hopefully all will use this cooling off period to re-evaluate their presence on this forum. While some may regard this as merely banter, they are not the ones who have to try to restore the balance of the forum, pacify those who feel aggrieved and occasionally get even more abuse in the process.
