Moar football manager stuff

So i just noticed i've accidentally signed an awesome Trequarista (Rodrigo - his stats are outrageous) and have been playing him in a position where his skills arent being utilised to their fullest (central mid - atk). Anyone got a good formation where i can incorporate him in the role he was born to play?

I'm currently playing:

Also, does anyone ever play their center backs as anything other than Central defender: defend, and does it make a difference (i was tempted to play one as a stopper and one as cover).

p.s. feel free to post (show off) any signings/tactics/whatever that have worked especially for you (e.g. i signed Cavani on a free, and got Nani for 5mil)

 

I've recently found this and started to deploy it - I seem to concede less and they seem to score more - now not sure if this is down to this but....

 

Should point out that my usual record is just over a goal scored per game to about 1 goal conceded in previous games
Since using this tactic I have a 1.8 goals scored per game and 0.7 goal conceded per game

I asked the board to sign Neymar as it would show we mean business. They agreed and I got him for £19m on £39k per week and he's got 24 league goals in 22 games including four hattricks. Play him as a lone forward with Ben Arfa in behind.

I need a quality CB though as I ship in far too many at the back.

 

I don't play FM Beatski but I guessed the title is a nod to Deadmau5, no?

 

4 at the back with both full backs in support mode
2 central mids, one as box to box support and other as ball winning defensive
2 attacking wingers in winger attack mode
1 central attacking mid in Advanced playermaker role with support
1 striker (Gamerio is banging them in!!) as a poacher in attack form

nope, just using a crappy meme misspelling of more (probably the same reason deadmau5 used it). I am a fan of Deadmau5 though, went to leeds to see him last year, and got so wasted i cant remember any of it

 

I have been meaning to play this game for about 9 months lol just can never be bothered to install it.

I have but like i said, havnt even installed the game yet, i also need to grab the latest update as well.

 

move your centre mid to just behind the striker and play him there and then set your deep lying playmaker to ball winning midfielder that should work fine, what centre midfielders do you have?

 

Just started playing fm11 today, thought i might as well get it since finishing uni for this year, having a redicilously long summer and not having a fm since 09.

Does Neymar always cost that much and was it at the start of the game or further in and how much do you usually have to pay for Lukaku? Also any CB/RB recomendations?

Beardsley loves Gameiro on mine and wont stop recomending so I might get him just to shut the loveable oaf up.

yeah so by playing def mid and ball winning mid your not losing out on your defensive aspect but by playing the trequarista your improving your attack

 

I got neymar for 5.75mill in my second season as he was unsettled and otamendi is good if you can get him or sakho

 

I paid £22.5 million in 2014/15 for Neymar. He is ****e in the PL but he is a beast in the CL.

 

I paid 13.5 mil for him, although he isnt that good on mine - 3 star (although development is probably variable and i got unlucky)

Not a fan of playing an asymmetric midfield, i'd either play 2 in the DM slots, or 2 in CM

Am I the only person who plays a narrow 4-3-3 on FM?

Havent fired it up recently due to exam revision. But it's worked at me for Newcastle (got into the CL) then moved to Chelsea (won the league and CL) and then moved to AC Milan and am thumping the league there. I play a target man, then an advanced forward and a deeper forward as their .. roles?

Then for the CM's I play them just as regular CM's.

My mate always plays his two CB's as stopper and cover and swears it is better, I stick to just normal CB's though.

 

I hate this game already, I never start with Sunderland, so took the Leeds job instead, went to loan chris smalling, from Man U reserves, they refused because they dont want him to go to a divisional rival, wtf i am in the championship, stupid bloody game.

and i have 0 money to spend either

also bloody work permits, i can only get free transfers (at leeds ffs) but had 3 players refused a work permit, think i might just do my usual and piss off to spain with Barca, no work permits there and plenty of cash to piss away.
