The MLB have handed Alex Rodriguez a 211 game ban, which means effectively that A-Rod is suspended for the 2013 and the whole of 2014 season. Rodriguez is appealing the ban and can still play games till the appeal is done. On the day that 13 players got banned, A-Rod returned to the Yankees line-up for the first time since his hip surgery during the off season. Arbitrator Horowitz judged A-Rod to be guilty of using Testosterone and human growth hormones as well as many other performance enhancing drugs.
