Danish media is overflowing with rumours, friends and family members of Laudrup giving teasers concerning the process leading to the dismissal of Laudrup. Common for all of them is that we've not heard anything even close to the truth about the sacking and that there will be quite a few surprises for those with interest in following the story.
Be interesting to hear their side of the story. As we have heard a lot of rumours about the board's side of the story. And until I hear both sides, I won't make my mind up like some.
Nope, just his brother in law saying he didn't go to Paris and that there are surprising details that haven't surfaced yet. He won't say anymore bla bla bla. It's up to ML to go public...
Cheers Mikra. This will drag on for a while I think. Any news over there on whether Laudrup is still taking the club to court for unfair dismissal? If he is, we won't find out what really happened until then.
According to media a court case is likely, but they'd say anything to sell their daily rag, nothing different here
It's a bit pathetic saying there are surprises but then refusing to elaborate. Either say something or shut up. Seems like ML's side just want to stir things up, but haven't got anything to say. Who cares anyway. Results were bad and he's gone. End of story.
He was in Malaysia talking to Vincent Tan about the Cardiff job as Tan is about to sack Solsjaer. That's what I heard.
Is it really any different from saying you have not discussed the manager future, then sacking him 2 days later. That's just lies, yet I didn't see you condemn that.
The sooner the truth comes out the better as the longer these stories/rumours linger, the more harm it will do to all parties involved.
Given all the rumours there must be a bloody big fire somewhere. It's put up or shut up time. All parties involved either need to come out and publicly say what happened or they should shut up and stop leaking snip bits to media outlets.
Must admit that was a Jenkins classic! A truly new meaning to Coffee mornings for Boardrooms...................
If Laudrup is having a press conference, when he doesn't (I would think) necessarily need to have one, then he must have something to say. I think it is fair to say that he is not somebody bent on capturing the lime light, or in being sensational. He usually only speaks when he has something to say. Unless this is standard procedure for the LMA in working on behalf of one of their members and Laudrup is going to say the obligatory "I cannot comment while the situation is under dispute" blah blah blah, then I would expect this to be a material event.
Laudrup is panicking as he don't have a leg to stand on. The main point is He was summoned to an emergency meeting on the following Sunday morning and he never showed up......He got what he deserved as he has done this sort of thing before at previous clubs...good riddance...
