Should be interesting, presumably it will be on TV, I would suggest that 95% of those watching will be supporting The Wombles.
They meet each other in the 2nd round of FA Cup. Some of the AFC fans, directors etc are suggesting boycotting the match. Apparently they've been dreading this prospect ever since they started up again. Seems a bit barmy to me. It would be the only fixture I would have ever wanted, just to show those who took away their club in the first place how they've fought back. Wonder if it's because they're southern softies or summat? Wonder if Gateshull fans eagerly await a clash with effcee?
Maybe you should glance down to see what other threads have already been posted. You might have noticed one entitled 'MK Dons v AFC Wimbledon'.
I thought Tobermory was a triangular bar of chocolate from Switzerland. OLM - please help I keep getting it wrong
Shouldn't the MK Dons be nicknamed "the economists"? .. and if so on the right-wing they've got Portillo on loan from Westminster United & on the left they've signed Ken Livingstone from Tower Hamlets FC
Wimbledon fans will boycott this one, though I'd love to see 5,000 turn up and storm Winkelcunt's office, before dragging him to the centre-circle and performing a Mayan sacrifice on him
Did you see the quote from Simon Wheeler, chairman of the Independent Wimbledon Supporters Association? "Personally I would rather take my girlfriend's mother to the garden centre than go to that game."
I'm glad you clarified that - I though he had said "Personally I would rather take my girlfriend's mother up the garden centre than go to that game."
What makes up the supporter base of MK Dons? I should imagine the number of Wimbledon fans who switched their allegiance to them full time is pretty much nil. What are their average crowds? Is it just the people of Milton Keynes, now delighted that they have a club of their own? They're not real, are they? There's no history to cling to.
