Certainly doesn't do us any favours for tuesday.

In a new stadium, how on earth does a game get called off due to a frozen pitch? Was it even that cold?

Carlisle fans would have arrived having travelled for **** knows how long to hear the game is called off at 1:45. Scandalous.

Some of those areas in the home counties do get severe frosts, I'm amazed a new stadium doesn't have undersoil heating...

The cynic in me says they weren't entirely desperate to get the game on. I really think home clubs should compensate the away club and fans in a case like this.

F**k, had this on one of my betting slips.

On a serious note though you are right. That is an all round 5 hour trip at least. I hope the Carlisle fans are fully reimbursed for the travel AND ticket <ok>

It was a severe frost out in the "sticks" last night. Very cold in Oxfordshire with the frost staying in the shade even now!

So now they will be all rested up, with no new injury worries or suspensions for the FA cup replay on Tues? I sincerely hope on that occasion we really strut our stuff and hammer them 6-0. COYR's, Chelsea in the next round.

Hopefully they will now be rusty, when was the last time they played?

We're a Premiership side and should dispatch them with ease especially with Chelski in the next round, but we're QPR and anything can happen!!

If it stays this cold maybe Tuesday's game will be called off!

No chance as we have undersoil heating, it will only be called off if it gets icy.

I think Flyer is referring to the Health & Safety concerns when a game is called off when it is icy around the stadium.

    Nonetheless, very unlikely.

They havent got under soil heating as they couldn't afford to install it and it's not the first time they've called one off with a frozen pitch.

    Us on Jan 7th.

Of note, going into this FA cup replay fixture: Rochdale 1 Stevenage 5 - so much for those Carling Cup giant killers, now almost at the bottom of League 1 - they had their moment in the sun. Still consider it was bad psychologically for team morale & suport to concede games like this, with the following crew unable to step up to the plate:-

    QPR
    26 Murphy
    02 Orr (Harryman 31)
    15 Perone
    16 Connolly
    28 ****tu
    07 Taarabt
    25 Ephraim
    36 Andrade
    37 Cook (Hewitt 73)
    38 Rowlands (Derry 72)
    10 Bothroyd
    Substitutes
    24 Cerny, 40 Harryman, 04 Derry, 14 Buzsaky, 39 Gibbons, 30 Hewitt, 42 German

Hope we won't see this guy in action again?

My mate was sat 2 rows behind that bloke and was pissing himself at him.

As said above, theres no chance of our pitch being unplayable through cold as we have heating, it would have to be ice in and around the ground for it to be called off.
