At least there will be some continuity and hopefully the same tactics.

Hope MJ agrees although using Kenny is the cheapest option which he likes so we should be OK.

I now hope with Kenny in temporary charge we go and tank St Johnstone

In Mixu we give thanks!!! Couldnt have hoped for the speedy turnaround that he managed in the style of play and results. His target was to to keep us in the SPL this season - I believe he has already achieved that, in fact I believe we are already secure in the top 6!! I also cant fault him for leaving us for Finand job. The only job I would leave Killie for would be Scotland. In a way its better he leaves for his dream job than for some struggling minnow championship side who could afford to pay a pretty penny.

I believe MJ will give Shiels till the end of the season to show his worth. Who though beside him in the long term? Now that Super is in charge at Gers would Durranty consider a return? By all accounts he is the superier coach and may feel slightly snubbed in favour of his buddy? Did well with the youth team with us and already has links with the club? Either that of Alex Ferguson once he wins the EPL again!!!!

Ok Take my Durrant Comment back, turns out he has been promoted to first team coach as part of Old Walters departure plans.

Ive already heard Gus McPherson banded about but im not sure he would have the same football mantra as Kenny Shiels! And Steve Kean curently manager at Blackburn hmmm. Steve McLaren looking to keep busy??

KS can't cause too much damage as we will finish in the top 6.

My concern is that he may not inspire the players. His change of roll may mean the players who readily accepted him as coach will struggle to accept him as Manager. However with every second player seemingly looking to leave the club perhaps they will self motivate.

I'll be at Perth with my fingers crossed hoping that step one of KS career as Killie boss works.

Gus has shown he can work with no money, but his St.Mirrent team had no flair - Defence! Dfence! Defence! was his motto.

Steve Kean is a back-stabbing, scheming ****ebag who undermined Big Sam until he got him sacked and then took Blackburn down the table, why would we want a pr1ck like that in charge?

I was an advocate of Gus, before Mixu showed us the light. It would be a retrograde step IMO. Shiels will in all probability get the job until the summer.Lets see what another "left field" choice doe,s.

In fairness, for someone who knows very little about football, both Johnston's appointments have been good. Calderwood was the right man at the right time and MiXu was so much better than we could have hoped for. Inspired or Lucky? I guess only time will tell.
