Having no evidence whatsoever either way, My guess is....

The injunction was taken out because he believed that some reporter somewhere had information about a business deal that Mittal has in the works. Releasing that information to the general public would have generated a huge interest in shares, driven the share price through the roof, and probably scuppered the deal. Or certainly cost Mittal a great deal of money.

There's documented evidence of this - just read "Joy In The Morning" by PG Wodehouse, where just this situation is a central plot theme.

It's not always about extra-marital activity. Remember, Mittal is a businessman, he's not a footballer, an actor, the Governator, or head of the IMF.

Ditto regards Willys comments, i have no clue what it relates to but Mittal is responsible for around 24,000 jobs in this country and a story which put any of these jobs at risk would certainly fall under the heading of 'not in the public interest'.

Was always taught: on the personal side of life, report crime and hypocrisy to protect us but hold private all else.

    Stood me in good stead.

Glad to hear that someone on the board goes to the away games, unlike Bernie. Oh sorry, that's not what you meant....
