I still can’t believe Rafa doesn’t play him, but seeing as though he’s unlikely to get a game we need to get rid.

I would however draw the line at selling him to another PL club, esp relegation rivals.

Unless of course someone can convince Chelsea he’s the striker they are looking for and hes worth £40m!

We can't sell him to our rivals. It will come back to haunt us for sure if we do!

Mitrovic is not very good. And he doesn't play. It's really, really time we get over it.

    Bid rejected, btw.

Weird to see 'Mitro off!' and it not involve a red card.
Pointless keeping him here like, helping nobody. As long as he doesn't have a brain transplant, it probably wouldn't be too bad selling an average striker with an insanely short fuse to a relegation rival

It really is time Mitro went the journey. Regardless of what we think, Rafa doesn't rate him so lets get rid and free up some cash and wages. If he goes to a 'rival' and does well, then good for him. That possibility in itself is not a reason to keep him.

If we get our 20m striker, which is starting to look like any bid we can get accepted below that ceiling, will Rafa be allowed to re-invest the funds of the Mitro sale into another signing?
    My worry is no.

Be very disappointed to sign some no name from Erdevise league or ****ing Slimani and let Mitro go.

Gamiero I'd take, Welbeck/Sturridge, or someone decent who's scored goals in a half decent standard of football I'd reluctantly be OK with but some of the links we are after are ludicrous!

Yeah sign a 30 year old striker who's scored goals in **** leagues and sell a youngster who has a better Goals per Min ratio than the other two wasters we have up top. Cracking business that Rafa...

Very good prospect at 23, but Rafa doesn't want him so there is no point in keeping him. Sell and make use of the money. Lets hope he doesn't make the same mistake he made in the summer, he's already handicapped us so far this season by keeping players he had no intention of playing.

Agreed but I'd prefer to sell Gayle for similar money and have a lad who A) supports the club B) CAN score goals if given a chance C) has his career ahead of him not behind him.

Selling Mitro to a relegation rival or Gayle to a Championship team should be an easy choice. I have no idea what the club are thinking letting go an international striker who scores when they play, over a pair of wastemen like Gayle and Joselu.

As you say plenty of others they can shift on to free up wages and fee's. Haidara, Colback, Gamez, Saviet could all go. I'd sell Clark, Gayle, Ritchie ahead of Mitro not to mention some of the dross bought in this year like Manquillo and Joselu.

Anyone think Joselu and Gayle will score as many or better goals than this in the EPL?

I agree but he has to go if Rafa is staying as he is not going to change his mind. That would mean have a dead weight in the squad who has value and dead wages. It makes no sense to keep him. Its not like we're awash with money.

If only Mitrovic was half as good as these opinions when he actually played, then I think it'd all be a moot point. Sadly, the reality is he's a bit crap with awful discipline.

But let's sign someone first before we start iff'ing and but'ing. I'm sure Mike and Lee won't let us/Rafa down....

All opinions. I think he has had a lot of good games for us. He was one of the bright lights the year we went down and had a decent goals return for the number of starts. Certainly better than what the current lot are offering us.

His discipline is clearly terrible, I don't think anyone can argue with that.

I agree, I think Mitro could do a really decent job under a new manager in the Championship next year.
