FFS., the training bug strikes again. Who takes training " Attila The Hun ", he sure is hell injuring some of our players. We have more players missing injured in training than from an actual match.

It's cool, it'll give that new striker we bought a chance to shine.

    Oh, right.

Fret not. Cissé has declared he will save our season. He might as well, last option. Or Doumbia? Who is clearly about 2 pre seasons away from starting a match.

much as we all love Mitro, this might have a positive side - i.e. Perez might actually start for once!!!

no doubt Tufty will favour the lethal duo of Riviere and Cisse though, or maybe he'll show some equal rights by playing a blind De Jong and a crippled Doombar.

Haha, you know this is right as well!!!! No matter how often Cisse has looked utterly lost in a 4-5-1, you can bet your bloody house that's how we'll start the next match!!!

    Ah, Schteve. Predictably dumb.

It's a definite pity if he misses the Stoke game with his physical attributes!

Though I think we should play Doumbia - he showed some desire against Chelsea so hasn't had his enthusiasm and talents squashed yet!

Doumbia is the best striker in the team atm, in terms being prolific and getting goals. He has much more ability then mitro perez and Cisse (Unless Cisse somehow rediscovers his initial form)

442 is the best option because none of our fit strikers are able to play as a lone striker. Mitrovic is our 1st choice if we want to play a single striker and bring other players into the game. Even in a 442 I would start Mitro, get him flicking balls on to Doumbia who is lightning fast!

You been on the FIFA again?!

I love using Roma as much as the next guy, but I'll pass on believing Doumbia is our saviour until he's actually fit.

In real life, who has the most career goals?

Yeah he isnt 110% fit, but he defenitely should be by the time they return back from Spain.

If I wasnt so unconvinced about McClaren's judgement, I would be of the opinion that he will prove his the best striker in the team in training! However I reckon training performences matter very little as we tend to pick the same team over and over again!

He's hardly prolific though is he?

Best to get him fit for next season when he is guaranteed to terrorise Sky-Bet Championship defences <ok>

167 goals in 289 games isn't at all bad

Loic remy before coming to England - 184 games - 67 goals

    Rooney - 588 Games - 261 goals

    J defoe - 586 - 244

Im not saying Doumbia is better than these players and yeah he has done it in lower leagues, But for all the nufc fans calling for loic remy or Jordan Rhodes and ended up disappointed with Doumbian are only disappointed because of their lack of knowledge (no offense)

Perhaps lets give this gut the benefit of doubt and fingers crossed we will all be pleseantly surprised

Doumbia might have shown desire on Saturday, it's just a shame someone appeared to have amputated his feat and sewn them on backwards. and his first touch made an elephant look nimble and skillful.

A lot is gonna depend on this training camp to see if he can fit in. Some take time, but some can easily pull it off it other countries but are just dross over here - Thomasson, the other De Jong etc.

    I'm talking about Mitrovic.

Thought that's who the thread was about?
