Well, I am still quiite happy that we are going to survive - it may be close but we will make it.

The problem is that some are looking at the rest of our season game by game but this is not the right way to look at it because emotions just go from one extreme to the other after every result. I listed our remaining fixtures list week, here they are again:-

    Bristol City V Barnsley
    Blackpool V Bristol City
    Bristol City V Brighton
    Bristol City V Middlesbrough
    Wolves V Bristol City
    Derby V Bristol City
    Bristol City V Sheff Wed
    Burnley V Bristol City
    Bristol City V Bolton
    Bristol City V Birmingham
    Hull V Bristol City
    Bristol City V Huddersfield
    Charlton V Bristol City

Like I said, we have to focus on the games that we have a realistic chance of winning, the first of which was today which we did, in style, not only scoring 5 but missing 4 sitters and it was great to watch until we switched off at the end and allowed them back in...

Forget about next week, I don't expect anything at Blackpool, even though they are no great shakes at the moment, so a point or more would be great - however, we CAN win the following:-

    Boro
    Wolves
    Sheffield Wednesday
    Bolton
    Birmingham
    Huddersfield
    Charlton

and if we can pick up at least a point against Derby and Burnley, THIS SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO SURVIVE...!!!!!So I say again, provided we can do this, it doesn't really matter what happens in the other games so stop trying to micro analyse the situation to death, defeat at Blackpool DOES NOT SPELL RELEGATION AT ALL...!!!!

There is another factor which kicks in about this time of year with the City which people don't factor in which is the fact that none of the players want to be in League One next year - it tends to lead to the sort of run that we see at the end of each year, i.e. 8 unbeaten last year which kept us up

Today was the first example of this, get ready for some more - IN THE GAMES WE CAN WIN

Got to believe people, got to believe....

I think SO'D also needs a quick rethink and readjustment on how he intends us to play away from home between now and the end of the season. If he gets it right we'll be ok, assuming the good home form continues.
