I've noticed there's a few people from the 606 board who haven't come over to NOT606 from your side. Flash the mackem, Smuginatibes, Gordon Armstrong. I used to have some canny banter, especially with smug. Where are they now? They didn't like it here???
probably to the other 606 board. havnt been over there for awhile, but did see gordon posting over there, smilies and all when i did.
I know that Gordon Armstrong wasn't too keen on the bad language which was very prevalent in the early days on here and decided enough was enough, but still posts from time to time on JA606. I can't recall Smug ever posting on this site and is a big miss. I'm sure Flash has had the odd post on here, but very rarely: another excellent poster whose contributions are also a big miss.
Aye, Gordon likes his smilies! I had the gloves on with Smug on many occasions, usually coming off worst, until we found out we have many mutual friends who he went to games with. My mates used to pick him up at Trowell service station. He never told me his name, but I know who he is now....

I think there was a number of sites which took on the 606 name. One of the others is called JA606, which is popular with a few clubs, but not with Sunderland or Newcastle fans.
I often wonder where a poster called Redan went to...He would have gave our Shameless a run for his money as the most warped poster on here champion.......And boy did he and Cestria have some serious disagreements...
Smug was a sound lad, we could banter about fighting for the badge to the price of bread from one day to the other. Gordon was here but didn't like the language & Flash sort of retired himself from forums, more the pity. Nice to see you still around mate, a true mag gent in every way..
Who? Sombrero!!! Noooo..He really is worse than 5-1 and Chappaz put together and has got to be the worst of all the Mags.... Only kidding marra...Sombrero seems like a real top bloke...
Do you know, I sometimes wonder why I spend a lot of time on the "enemies" board. I'm going soft in my old age. Always good craic on here. We all have our tossers, but when all comes to all, we're very similar. Dream of steak and caviare, but settle for pies.
