Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner is getting closer to deciding on his future amid 'overwhelming' and 'global' interest in his services, according to his representative. The Denmark striker spent last season on loan at Sunderland but has no plans to return to the Stadium of Light or Emirates Stadium. Bendtner did not do badly in advertising himself at Euro 2012, where he scored twice in the 3-2 defeat by Portugal. And the 24-year-old's agent, Jesper Lynghus, claims a number of clubs from around the world have been showing interest. Speaking to Danish newspaper bold.dk, Lynghus said: "The interest is overwhelming, just as it should be after the way Nicklas performed at Euro 2012. "We are getting closer day by day. "We are not commenting on individual deals at the moment, but it is fair to say the interest in Nicklas is global." Fulham, meanwhile, are reported to be ready to step up their interest in a £5million move for Arsenalmidfielder Aaron Ramsey following captain Danny Murphy's move to Blackburn.
I think it's Ironic, but the sort of striker you need... I reckon Andy Carroll would absolutely perfect for you. Wins everything in the air, very strong and powerful, holds it up well, he'd be deadly on the end of Larssons crosses and free kicks, and I could see him and Sess causing a lot of defenders panic. But since he's a geordie, it will never happen.
Loads of Geordies who also support Sunderland Tash..I think you are getting Geordie mixed up with Skunk..
Love to get Carroll, but the bin dippers have skewed the market with that £35M bid! Bit rich for us now, sadly. Bendtner should have done the job for us, but whereas Carroll always gives it 100%, Bendy is prone to drop his work rate when he's not in the mood.
You know what I mean though. He still loves Newcastle I reckon, supported them all his life. I meant Geordie as in Newcastle fan, not just someone who comes from Tyneside. Don't think Carroll would ever agree to a move to Wearside.
If I was in Andy Carroll's position, no. Being a Geordie, earning 80k a week at Liverpool, and being around the first team, I would never move to my rivals club. If I was a youngster, trying to make it in football, and Sunderland offered me a 50k contract, the chance to be in a Premier League squad, then I'd snap it up no questions asked.
Rumors at the time was that he cried after the abuse he got at yours last season.... supported them all his life and victimised by the fans (or how he saw it)
I personally don't give a **** about that sort of thing anymore. Ever since Carroll left I've refused to let myself get attached to Individual players, no matter where they've come from. I love the team more than anything. He receives abuse from the few thousands idiots that waste their breath booing him for no good reason. He cried like any Geordie would being booed by the fan base he was/Is part of.
****ing hello mm.. public agreement with Tash is no good. We'll never get rid of him! Although I do agree! With you though.. Not Tash!
Come on Marcus, be honest. Tash is the love child we all know we could have after that wild night out in Newcastle all those years ago. A regret in life and one you try and forget but you love him all the same because he is yours. Don't try to deny it, we have all had one of those nights.
Going back to Bendtner if he's up for it he's a very good forward. Will go to the Bundesliga i reckon.
I have no money so go and see ya ma I have a feeling you have many little commo's scattered around the world
