    I like the look of lakaku , whenl Chelsea came calling for ba we should of asked for a swap deal we only got 5 mill for ba

    Don't think this would have been a starter as we were only ever going to get £5m due to Ba's contract.

    Agree that he looks like an excellent player - intersting to see that Chelsea have refused to allow West Brom to continue his loan next season - suggests they've got plans for him themselves

    They wouldn't have gone for a direct swap and when they had offered his release clause fee we were not left with a bargaining position.

    could of tried though,dont think we even entertained the idea,offered ba n obertan n simpson , n a 100 mill if they took the others

    I think he is still highly thought of there. Came with a lofty rep, did he not cost them a bomb (10m rising to 20m if he became what they expect?) Next Drogba for me.

    I think it's a fair shout to compare him with Drogba. He really seems to have come on in the last two years.
