I have been trying to think of a striker who could fit in and replace Andy Carroll and thought what about Klose?

I know he is getting on a bit but he wants to leave Bayern and is out of contract in the summer I think, so possibly would be a good signing

But, if he is a free transfer then I am sure that a lot of teams will want him and we might not be able to

    Just a thought

    Anybody agree?

I thought about him, he's 32 though and another Lovenkrands (I like McLoven). I'd say yes if he wasnt the only one we brought in.

Yes I know the age could be an issue and I know for a fact we will not sign him, but its a thought lol

I don't think we need to play long balls anymore since me Aunty Carroll left and I don't think we need a direct replacement like Crouch, Heskey or Cole so players like Klose, Bendtner would be ideal for me

What about Klose and Vela? One experienced striker and one up and coming striker who is looking to play regular games. Klose on a free and Vela for about £7m-ish? With a bit money left for a winger and maybe another defender or 2. I would definetly go for Cleverley on the right and maybe Wes Brown if he was a low fee and possibly Van Aanholt back as competition. That would make me smile

Also, I cannot see us signing Ireland on a permanent basis, if he does well then Villa are guna wanna either keep him or ask for a high fee

Suddenly the idea of Robbie Keane doesnt seem so bad does it, when your faced with Shola & Best up front all season.
