    Can't see it happening. Not enough goals in the team and coughing up too many easy goals. I am now resigned to the fact that we are going down. Does anyone reallistically hold out any hope now?

    Looking very doubtful now Ciarrai, but sure, we've had 30+ yrs of conditioning and will continue to roar them on through the next 34 Year Plan (we're still not down though..... :emoticon-0105-wink:)

    no totally agree with you, For a team with loads of midfielders we looked pretty void of any imagination going forward after SD came off. derry will try but, not going to make the runs. park will run but lacks quality of a final pass. AT seemed off again swp played well and that chap at right back player well looked like he wanted to try he looks very like JB. We could of winning 3-1 but as they say when your at the bottom you dont get the breaks you need.
    I though arry had a tough job when he took over now i think its impossible..

    Yeah, that's about right Kerry. I think a lot of us pointed out the lack of cover in the striking department when the squad was finalised. That has now well and truly bitten us in the a#se. I think that we're going down. It would be our greatest ever come back to escape that now.

    No we're not down yet, long way from it. We are only 7 points off it with 23 games left to play. But we need more luckwith injuries, and we hit the woodwork twice at least today. We need Cisse scoring goals or someone else, and still need to strengthen at the back. Better teams than Villa and Sunderland will score more against us.

    This. I have no idea with the Faurlin situation, pretty sure he isn't injured though.

    It's a massive task, but Harry's only had two games and we've already shown improvement in some areas. If we can win next week and other results go our way then things might not be as lost as we fear. Maybe, anyway!

    I know it looks - and is - bad, but there us still plenty to happen before we're well and truly gone. Wigan looked dead and buried later than this last season but put in a great run late on and survived comfortably. Harry will get his team to play and win, I'm sure of it. Let's wait until we're pushed off, no point in jumping.

    Never say die.

    The last two games have shown that we can/will survive. Today, as with a lot of games this season, we were unlucky.
    We started well, and they scored out of the blue. Mbia and Samba got injured. We hit the woodwork twice and should have won. BUT confidence is still lacking.
    Cisse should/would have came on and probably got the winner.
    Disappointed, but there's a long way to go. I am completely gutted, the mrs is keeping well away from me (she's not daft), but I can see a light at the end of the tunnel.
    Next Saturday...

    Bolton Wanderers had just 9 points after 15 games last season - that's only 3 more than the Rs at the same stage. Yes, Bolton went down, but, as we all well know, they took it to the very last game of the season and could well have survived at the Rs' expense. It is still too early to write QPR off. Of course, it'll take a major reversal in fortunes, but remains possible.

    I for one am not going to write the Rs off after Mr Redknapp has been in charge for a mere two games. Two games in which the Rs:

    [1] Have been unbeaten;
    [2] Earned only their second away point of the season;
    [3] Came from behind to secure a point today;
    [4] Have conceded only 1 goal, compared with conceding 26 in the preceding 13 games; and
    [5] Have at least in Jamie Mackie a man that is currently getting on the scoresheet.

    Of course you can balance this with the fact that the Rs:

    [1] Remain winless;
    [2] Can't score goals; and
    [3] Have failed to beat two teams likely to be in the relegation mix come April/May.

    I'll continue to cling to the wreckage for the time being - it's too early to do a Lenny Dickerprio and let go.

    Can't see the point in writing us off now, except as some sort of psychological ploy to overcome the disappointment of our season so far. Mathematically we're not down, we've got a decent manager at last, and our rich owners are not going to piss their investment away by denying Harry money in January (whatever he says). Anyway, the table's upside down (best song of the day).

    With regard to Faurlin, I got into the paddock about 2.15PM and the fella who sits in front of me said that I had just missed seeing Ali storm out of the ground with what seemed like a massive strop on.
    He doesn't need to lie or BS so I take that at face value

    We are not down yet by any means! We are playing much better under Harry and with just a smidgeon of luck we would have won today. Until it is mathematically impossible I will believe, as the Ad goes impossible is two letters too long so everything is POSSIBLE. Our time will come believe me!!!

    Plenty of positive vibes on this thread, that's the spirit!

    For me, I've gone past a sort of fatalistic defeatism which I had around me for the last few weeks and my attitude now is **** them all, we may be going down but not without a fight and not without taking a few scalps and wiping a few smug grins off the begrugers faces. Not buried yet!!
