I know it is no consolation after tonight's disappointment but I've just realised that we no longer hold the ignominious record of the most number of games in the PL without a win in one season.

That unenviable record is now held by Aston Villa who won today on their 20th attempt this season.
I think we beat Fulham on the 17th attempt.
 
I'll take any consolation I can get!

Mind you, we also lost the record for longest unbeaten start to a Championship campaign to Brighton this season, so they kind of cancel each other out in my view.
