Reports state he won't be in the match day squad with Karius starting and Ward on the bench.
Reports state that Mingolet is fit and able to play but has not been selected.

His form has been the usual good shot stopping but no commanding of his area, pretty much the same as always. He's not made any real mistakes at all this season.

Is this Klopp making a statement that his signing is No.1 and that Mingolet can move on?

I have a feeling that has already happened and that's why he's not in the bench.

Karius wasn't really challenged today so hard to really judge his performance. He did well from what little challenge he had.

Klopp said Mingolet is still number one. As for Karius had little today and lucky to get away with his indecision twice.

Everyone has already said the same, especially as Mings is likely to be sat on the bench.

Doesn't really matter now, we Won ;)

If the fitness/sport science guys are saying Mignolet is approaching the red line then pushing him over it just because a break is coming afterwards is not good management, especially so early in the season and such a poor opponent

    Horses for courses?

Karius isn't brilliant with crosses but Arsenal don't play that way. Maybe klopp wanted his keeper to have good distribution and start quick attacks with Karius exceeds Mig on.

Managers do it all all the time with outfield players who have diff qualities maybe wanted to try the same with keeper? Seemed to work fine

Nice theory, but why wasn't Migs on the bench?

Klopp is disciplining Migs for something here.

Because Ward is better at that part of the game than Migs as well

A foreign club bid for Migs already and it was rejected. He is not for sale, Klopp was only being erratic by not playing him against Arsenal
