Well, not exactly but oh well, why not as Bazza Normal used to say. I have decided that I am treating myself to a curry night. A takeaway obviously, as I don't tend to get invited to food extravaganza nights out for some inexplicable reason, or not perhaps. Anyway I digress and before I go off on yet another tangent what's everyone's favourite Indian (I'll still get back to you stopme re the Nepalese dishes) meal? I prefer the medium hot spicy variety. The last Jalfrezi I had was absolutely sumptuous. Oh and The Beetles were the biggest manufactured boy band in history. Nursery rhyme songs with twee lyrics aimed at pre-pubescent girlies. Nothing to do with food but just something I have always wanted to get off my chest, much like the Welcome mat.
Irony can be somewhat ironic at times. The last Indian takeaway I had was from Rishis in George Street. Bootiful it was, absolutely bootiful.
I do like an Indian myself but her in doors is not keen on the hot ones so usually mild(****),tend to go for the dryer dishes.
I've never tried the really hot curries (Phal I think). I just don't see the point in eating something you can barely taste because of the overpowering heat, defeats the purpose and enjoyment. Plus I doubt me poor old ringpiece would handle the repercussions the day after. The mild ones are pointless. Be as well having a bowl of yogurt. Strictly for ****tahs, lezzers and trannies and *****s.
I tend to go for a "traditional" one, medium to fairly hot: bhuna, rogan josh, jalfrezi. Have had the hottest ones in the past but just want an enjoyable meal these days not eating one mouthful at a time between gulps of lager. Not a fan of pebble-dashing the toilet pan from my fiery ring either. Edit: left out madras which is the one I class as fairly hot.
I have one of those mugs like the one in your avatar, a girl at work gave it to me as a Christmas present.
Quite. I think it was stopme that called me a raving ****tah after I said I was having Quiche for my tea one night. Thankfully I didn't mention I was having a Babycham with it otherwise I'd have been even more ridiculed
Yeah, I don't see the point of going hotter than a Madras (or a Chennai as I have never called it), as you don't taste the flavours. I do love a good naan to mop all the goodness from the plate.
