Not sure how semtex works but I saw a 200 pounder go off in Londonderry back in the 80's and that was some awesome power. <Still prefer BC, BR and everyone else as well to Southampton>
The CSM gave me a roasting once, for calling a NI Land rover (piglet) a van. I didn't know what it was really called, but I soon found out. He knew I was a sprog, so he then asked me what I thought the bit of angle iron sticking up at the front was for (cutting wire strung across the road to avoid the squaddie in lookout at the back, having his head cut off). I wanted to say for hanging a flag on but thought better of it.
