The Charboys take the short journey into Hertfordshire to take on the promotion chasing Hornets looking to close the gap on the pack trying to avoid the drop, on paper this should be a home banker but we held the Hornets at Adams Park with a 1-1 draw back in October and we will be looking to go one better this time.
Gaz welcomes back Ryan Tafazolli to the squad and he is likely to go into the starting line up Ryan Alsop has returned from injury but with Stockdale's present form he may have to make do with a place on the bench JJ is likely to start after Jordan Obita picked up a knock on Sunday.
It's a 7pm KO tonight so get yourself set for the early start and lets hope all the Chairboys and girls will go to bed with a smile on their face tonight and not just from Wooperts posts<cheers>

    GOAL to Watford.
They carve open the Blues for the first time down the right and a low cross is delivered on a plate for Andre Gray to tap home.

Has Adeniran gone out of favour or does he keep getting injured in training?

Sky red button missed the first half due to the time change

I hope nobody says we played well. Tried hard yes. Just keep giving the ball away and never threatened.

Pity really. Can't complain about the effort but just not good enough I'm afraid

Bayo and Kashkett came on. No idea what Gareth thought that would achieve. I'm afraid Bayo has no effect at this level, which more or less takes Kashkett out of the game/ Kashkett would be more effective if we kept the ball on the ground and split the defence open with through balls he can run onto

Serious question which in my view puts Wycombe into perspective. How many of your players have seen action before this season past league one? You can probably see where I'm going with this already. It counts for a lot playing with basically league one players in the Championship. The divide between one and the Championship is quite enormous and the amounts some of the players cost and get paid is also huge. If you can't join them then you are basically fecked before you start.

Looking at the bench I would have brought on Muskwe ane Mehmeti rather than Bayo and Kashkett and I would have brought on McCarthy instead of Ofoborh. Then we would have won <laugh>

That;s the same as me Ron, we signed two players from Scotland who you have to say really put in shift, but apart from Rangers & Celtic the rest are probably bottom end Championship or top end league 1. As Greeny the step up is huge, the players we have signed I would say, have made us a better team than last season. The players we have signed from who have played Championship football, they have been released from Championship clubs for a reason. I am just hoping we end up a bit like Rotherham down one season back up the next & build it up.
