So two of the players whose commitment you'd certainly not question -- Sargent and Fisher -- seem likely to be missing?
Sainz, Nunez (maybe), Duffy all certainly have the question raised for me over recent weeks. They’re not deliberately playing badly by any means but they appear to have lacked something in recent weeks, call it passion, desire, commitment - none of them have stepped up or played at 100%. That suggests to me that they already know their future is away from the club. People may question why Sorensen has featured recently, but he is dependable and a known quantity whilst probably not being as good as those 3 above, at least you know what you will get from him.
Sainz certainly. Núñez? As you say, "maybe"; he appears to me to have been unsettled by Wright's introduction to the heart of midfield. Duffy? Doubtful, he's too experienced to be too affected by uncertainty about his Norwich future; I think he's probably just run out of steam. He's 33 and clocked up more appearances than anyone else, starting in 42 Championship games.
Which players would you suggest Robbie? The PinkUn boys were suggesting 3 or 4 without naming names. Duffy for me is one who has underperformed in recent weeks, he should be a leader in this team but he’s jogging back when the ball goes behind him and not engaging attackers quick enough in my opinion.
Many more than four could be criticised for "underperforming" lately, including e.g. McLean. The specific accusation is that some have more or less downed tools, which Jack Stacey denied in his post-match interview on Saturday. I think the four referred to by Southwell and co. are likely from among those who know they are leaving this summer, either because their contracts are not being renewed (e.g. Gunn, Hernandez), or because they've been told their future lies elsewhere and the club is open to acceptable offers for them (e.g. Sainz, possibly Núñez).
Reyes starts. Seems like it's the game of back-up keepers, Wallies missing their main two please log in to view this image Welcome back Alec Neil
