Seven windmills once stood on the western side of the Isle of Dogs, helping to give this part of the island the name 'Millwall'. The 'wall' was in fact a great bank of earth and stones, perhaps dating back to the Roman era and certainly in use by the early Middle Ages. This bank of earth kept the river from flooding the island at high tide, allowing the surrounding land to be cultivated for farmland. please log in to view this image The Den Millwall Team News: Wingers Lee Martin (foot) and Paris Cowan-Hall (ankle) have returned to training and could feature. They are a very aggressive team and have great team spirit and I believe they will be fighting because they need to win games to stay in the division. “If we are arrogant in this match we will be in big trouble.” Wherever You Are In The World, Enjoy The Game #fornicforpromotion
I love the little facts at the start of these threads! First of 5 massive games and I still think it's just about in our hands. COYH!
What amazes me is the level of confidence I seem to have in Slav. I naturally always feel nervous about crunch games coming up, no matter who the opposition is, I have supported Watford too long to feel otherwise. However, under Slav, I still think we can win even if we are two down. I also feel that he is the best coach we have ever had in terms of removing complacency, and that includes GT. If we lose it won't be because we underestimate the opposition. I am still nervous about this one, though.
Pre match warm-up: The Bermondsey Beer Mile http://www.draftedmagazine.com/the-bermondsey-beer-mile/ Post match warm down.... Borough Market most likely
I am a bit of a Cathcart fan and was not that impressed with Connolly last week - I was waiting for the red card to be brandished - we will need all 11 on the park for this one.
i agree he knows what hes doing when things need to change then its sorted and the 2ond half we come out fighting
This is advertised, but sometimes they are taken down. It will only start, if it does, at the last minute. http://firstrowfr.eu/watch/336943/1/watch-millwall-fc-vs-watford-fc.html
