David Dunn becomes the 8th manager that we've sacked after losing to the wall, making it eight managers in 7 years and two this season along with Mark Cooper. <laugh>

(1) John Barnes - Tranmere 2009
(2) Steve Coppell - Bristol City 2010
(3) George Burley - Nigels 2011
(4) Sven - Leicester 2011
(5) Owen Coyle - Bolton 2012
(6) Stuart Pearce - Forest 2015
(7) Mark Cooper - Swindon 2015
(8) David Dunn - Oldham 2016

I understand your somewhat conservative attitude in saying we need time to develop, but when May comes and we're looking like moving up, will you then stand up and say "No, we're not ready" ? No? Didn't think so.

If we go up then fair play and great as any fan would say but the kids will learn their trade and develop better in a winning team, not one that's getting beat regularly in the Championship. Think of it as what JB said (about losing the Scunthorpe playoff final) after we beat Swindon, that he thought in the long run it was the best thing to go up the season after as we weren't ready in his opinion and that we'd have come straight back down again. <ok>

Of course if we go up I'll enjoy it and make the most of it as any wall fan, just looking at the bigger picture that's all brissy. <cheers>
