well I've just finished watching that and we were incredibly lucky to get 3 points but I'll still take em

 

always amazing how different your perceception of a game is after watching it at the ground pissed to watching these highlights!

lucky not to have another penalty (the handball) given against us. But ross really shudda scored again after that amazing 1st touch

 

Yea that touch was amazing, poor finish though even if it is hard to take it on the volley like that

Terrible referee error to blow the whistle for the PK so quickly.

Terrible referee effort to give it after Keogh's embarrassing dive.

 

Enjoyed that, we seemed to settle more once we were 1 nil up. Much better in the latter stages.

 

Not sure about the hand ball, thought I saw their player knock Bruce's arm before it made contact. Watch carefully and you can see a bit of a jerk from his arm which suggests it was pushed into the path of the ball.

The dive was definitely a dive.

As for the penalty that WAS given, it would never have been a goal had the penalty not been given. Bruce was well placed to clear it had he not slacked off from the sound of the whistle. It was definitely a penalty though.

Lots of ifs and ands. The referee was too fast, he should have waited 2 - 5 seconds to see if advantage developed.

 

But getting a penalty is the advantage! so once hes blown hes gotta stick with it

 

only if you don't score is it an advantage.

Once he has blown, the ball is dead, so cannot score.

End result is the same, got to go with the penalty.

You would have thought that was put together by the Millwall lot.

 

Because they were two different incidents. Henry was booked for a dive after being "fouled" by Darren O'Dea in the first half. The penalty, Keogh was definitely taken out, although he fell in dramatic style.
