Leicester City legend Steve Walsh believes the club records signing Matt Mills is feeling the pressure of his £5 million price tag.

The article below sees Walsh reveal his issues with the defenders current form and his belief that Nigel Pearson can bring the best out of him.

If Stevie Walsh says the sky is green & the grass is blue, I`ll believe him.

"HE`S HERE, HE`S THERE, HE`S EVERY ****ING WHERE STEVIE WALSH, STEVIE WALSH"

I cant think of 1 player who we have spent big on and they have been worth it

Ade Akinbiyi, DJ Campbell, Dennis Wise, Gary Rowett, James Scowcroft to name a few

Ian Walker did well thats about it. Matt Mills and Jermaine Beckford are yet to set the world on fire and live up to their price tags

It's just amazes me that sol Bamba cost a 20th of what we paid for Mills but that's football! Just about all of our best players over the years have either been free's or cost under a million.

Still I think Mills will come good in the end, on his day I think he is absolute class, just hope the more impatient supporters don't hound him out!

When he finds the consistency he had at Reading then he'll be awesome.

He was incredible against Palace, Derby, Blackpool and Forest but woeful against Brum, Hull and Millwall.

A bit like Nugent for me ... not quite a Centre Forward!

Think Walshy sees a bit of himself in Mills ... for me I'd rather see one of Mills or Bamba paired with a more cultured player ... hence I'm really hoping Tunch gets the nod on Saturday and shows what a class act he is ...

Scowcroft was ok thats it. For 3M you expected more. He went from a striker to a winger. He was solid in the air but that was about it

When Mills and Bamba were together during our little unbeaten run they were superb and I think we didn't concede for about 4 games. I think the two compliment each other well and the no-nonsense/technical CB pairing is a good one to have.

As long as Matt gets his discipline right then I think we've got a perfectly competent Championship centre-half. I think Proud's right in that he just needs to find consistency now - indicative of the whole side you could say.

    Agreed

Since our little unbeaten run Mills and Bamba have hardly played together. Mills and Bamba both have had suspensions totalling up to about 7 games. Now Mills has 2 more and is 1 more yellow card off another suspension. He really needs to sort his disapline out. I think SSL will be quality under Nigel and if we can get Tunchev fit Mills will have to show his ability to keep his place

What about Darren Eadie? In fairness, more to do with injuries rather than him being ****e, but it was still a waste of £3m.
