Apparantly Miller is back for Saturday. Great news!! Him and Mason up front would do the job I reckons! Really really rate Miller. Give him the right service and he will get a hatfull.
Phatfrog! If someone tells Marshall there's no big target up front so stop hoofing it the length of the pitch(that's when he can keep it in play)then you could just be right.
I can't make my mind up about Kenny Miller, give him half a chance and he will bury it instinctively..........given time to think he seems to panic IMO, OK with his unfortunate injury problems he hasn't had a lot of game time, and apparently he wasn't "match fit" when he came to us. If you look at his record, well he hasn't suddenly become a "bad" player overnight, he is a busy player and makes a nuisance of himself when he is on the pitch......given regular games when he is fit well I have no doubt given time he will start to score goals for us............time however is a luxury we don't have. I remember when MM was appointed a lot of people (myself included) said he would need this season to bed himself in and we could kick on next year, like a lot of people I have tended to forget that I took that (sensible?) stance when MM was appointed, and I am now disappointed because we are not in the playoff places; fickle or what? I lament the lack of flair at the moment like almost every one else, but we are getting what we expected at the start of the season, like all passionate football fans we will never be satisfied, it's the nature of the beast. If we finished second in the premiership (I wish) we would be moaning about the referee in the (insert club of your choice) game where we should have had a penalty or whatever and we could have won the league...........we just have to accept the fact that unless we win every game 6 - 0 people are going to moan.............we should have had 7 etc. etc. Good innit
Toddzilla is back!!! Alright butt? Miller is by far and away the best striker we have at the club.. shoot me for taking that stance but the reasons are the following.. Unlike Earnie, Miller knows the offside rule.. Miller is able to play the lone role in a 4-5-1 as shown for Scotland and against Southampton and Blackpool for us. Miller doesn't infuriatingly flick EVERY ball on Miller looks up and plays the ball instead of "hotdogging" across the box and selfishly shooting for goal. I love Earnie too, who doesn't? But Miller needs to play in my opinion and potentially on his own in the 4-5-1 that has worked a few times this season. Or next to a fully fit Rudy..
Benni, I agree Miller is the best striker at the club and that's part of the problem we have at the moment, a lack of quality
Sssh your mouth Taff. Miller is the best all round striker in the division. Although I do like Lambert.
Given the right service and with the right support from midfield, Miller will be a valuable player this season. Haven't said it for a while, but TWO WIDE MEN PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
