To be honest, I'm not a fan of the bloke. I've always thought he was rather over rated. It's just an opinion, of course and it doesn't mean I feel ill will towards him. Good luck to him.

What the less cerebrally blessed members of CAFC football fraternity (many of whom post on CL) don't realise is that there is a very lucrative living to be made, as an ex pro, from becoming a Media Race Tart. Just look at the Twitter pages of certain ex pros. Jason Roberts springs to mind. Mark Bright is another. Clark Carlisle another still. Just imagine the career choice for the ex pro.....it used to be become a manager or buy a pub....now there is a 3rd choice....earn a six figure salary in the media faking outrage & grievance & stirring the pot.
Oh dear. THe whole thing has escalated into a witch-hunt. If you make any sort of alleged racist comment you are expected to crawl into a corner and die. When I worked for a building firm 30-odd years ago there was a lot of good-natured racist banter which would now result in the sack. In this case it's about Jewish people, but Jews like Jackie Mason made a lucrative living out of telling jokes against themselves.And no-one could tell Irish jokes like the Irish. Not now.
