hmmmm ill be so gutted if we dont get this tied up we really need a rock solid full back who can pack a punch going forward, santoon is getting there but he needs a few more years before hes 100 percent reliable but i have great hope for him as for the deal, im not too hopeful its gone very quiet and ashley dosnt look like budging anytime soon which will be a massive disapointment coz he looked brilliant in the euros

This was the one transfer out of all that have been mentioned that I wanted to see come off... A top quality right back that wants to be here that would improve our current squad for a long season. What more motivation could they need to sign the lad up, especially if the stumbling block is a measly (in footballing terms) 1million (if you believe the reports).
