Agree mate, he was sensational in the CL and FA Cup finals in particular.

There's so much gossip going on at the moment about comings and goings! My instinct is that who leaves will hinge on our buys and how much they will cost! If he does leave, good luck to him.He has served us well! <ok>

Mikel is brilliant defensively and can compose himself very well but offers absolutely **** all going forward but that's maybe down to us as for Nigeria he tends to offer a lot more. I think Chalobah has the potential to be twice as good anyway so hopefully it makes room for him next season.

On the other hand I won't forgive him for saying what he said about Europa league, not a very good message to send to fans.

I'm quite ambivalent about Mikel but what can't be denied is he didn't live up to his promise. If he had shown the potential he had in 2005 at the U-19's World Cup he'd be without a shadow of a doubt the best midfielder in world football.

Even if you watch clips of him then, he's unrecognisable. A victim of Chelsea destroying young talent in that era? Perhaps.

You say that, but I blame him directly for lazily giving the ball away in our own third, leading directly to Juve's equaliser, leading to us getting knocked out of CL last season. A bit nitpicky maybe, but that singular mistake was inexcusable considering the magnitude of the implications (even though we did go on to win the Europa). No team aspiring to win on all fronts, can afford to make these kind of mistakes at crucial junctures.

He should be as good as if not better than Yaya Toure, considering the promise he had. But he is not and I am more inclined to let Chalobah have a go, Mikel is bound to make mistakes and he is the experienced pro, if Chalobah makes them we can put it down to inexperience
