QPR to confirm Rigg as technical director 17/04/2012 by David McIntyre QPR are set to confirm the arrival of Mike Rigg from Manchester City as technical director. Hughes is keen to make changes. Rigg worked with Rangers boss Mark Hughes at Eastlands and Blackburn Rovers. He has also been the Welsh FAâs technical director and Sheffield Wednesdayâs academy manager. He has left City, who appointed him in 2008, and will start work at Rangers on Monday. Hughes told West London Sport in February that he was reviewing the set-up at Loftus Road ahead of possible changes behind the scenes
Don't know who he is or what he's done, but bringing in someone like that wouldn't be cheap and perhaps it shows further intention of investing in the club and moving things foward despite the predicament we are currently in. I'd say this is positive news, despite all the doom and gllom around after last night.
