Sorry, for me DEAN, who I have no regard for , due to the way he refs us , did not apparently report any of Fergusons antics at all, even though he had a go at the young assistant Jake Collin and the fourth official Niel Swarbrick, that proves he is a joke! Taking in to account Fergusons actions and comments during their visit at the Liberty as well there is still no punishment forthcoming. Is there a bias toward ' big clubs' by the FA and Officials alike?

Is Fergie losing the plot? Or has he had too many sherrys over the festive period? I know his comments have always been a bit dodgy, but he's just making an absolute twat of himself at the moment

    In a word, yes.

Call me a cynic but I have a feeling that upsetting the likes of United is considered bad for business by the money men running the Premier

Fergie has been an embarrassment lately.
I respect his achievements hugely but recently he seems unable to show opposing clubs, fans, players and officials any respect at all. Calling Newcastle a wee club up North East is totally unwarranted especially as they only beat them controversially.
The way he went off the rails about Ash without once mentioning RVP's reaction or the flares from their fans has shown him up to be a miserable old bastard. He's starting to sound more like Wenger with every passing day...

I think fergie is coming to the end of his career now and is going out with a bang as he will do anything to end his career with a title....who will take over from him is the question..

Dai there has been talk of ML (which I don't buy) Pep, Mourinho and the German dude who's name escapes me now. Moyes deserves it for me though.
It will be a plum job for whoever gets it that's for sure.
I will miss fergie because we've been fortunate enough in an era where the most successful manager of any time has been plying his trade. I would like to see him spend more time gracious in defeat as he winds down his career but ho-hum.

Keep it on thread please Dai, which is about is there a ' bias' towards certain clubs by the FA or the Refs, as ol' bacon faces , ( and I do mean faces as he has more than a townhall clock imo ), gets away with murder !

Back on thread I think there is a certain amount of favouritism for big clubs like Man Utd, Chelsea.
fergie time isn't just a phrase used by one or two clubs anymore...

It is on thread when i said i think he is going out with a bang, He don't care what happens as the refs are afraid of fergie not letting them ref any of the matches at old trafford. I have a feeling that Mourinho has already been tapped up to take over....

Fergie should be banned from the touchline for the rest of the season - it's a s simple as that. in fact most of footballs problems could be sorted if the men in blazers had any bottle, starting with Sepp Bladder.

Are you being deliberately provocative ? This thread is not about whose going to take over at manure it's about the present manager . If you don't want to discuss that please leave the thread!

And im giving a reason on why fergie is extra controversial to what he normally is as i think its his last season and he dont care and will do anything to win the title this season. I was listening to a programme on the subject and top football pundits said its because the refs are afraid of upsetting the great man.....they want to ref at old trafford and if fergie don't want them for any reason then they cant, both managers have to agree on the manager chosen for the match....

Listened to Dermot Gallagher on talk sport this morning. Reckons the reason he didnt include it in his match report was that he would have been asked why he didnt take action on the day and would have been drawn over the coals for not doing anything. He also said that refs will be told by the fa now to stamp down on Managers. So some poor bastard will have to take the rap for someone not taking any action in the future. He also all but admitted that refs and the fa are scared of him.

I see that Rednapp and Mancini have been charged over comments they have made. It seems one rule for one. The sooner the book is thrown at the red nosed prick the better.

both managers have to agree on the ref? Really?
The FA wants to cut that **** out right now. The ref for the game is the guy who got the nod - that's how it should be.
christ fergie sounds more pathetic with every new bit of info!

For me Mike Dean and Howard Webb I think are the worst officials around. How Dean never took action against Fergie is beyond me. It sums Fergie up with his comments about Ash nearly killing RVP and insisting that the FA take serious action. What should have been done was for the FA to take action over Fergie's comments for bringing the game into disrepute. He made a fool of himself and look like a deranged rabid dog during his interview.

If any body now let's say Pulis for the argument and Vidic did the same to oh mmmm Shawcross and he came out with the same crap that Fergie did, what's the betting that he would be hauled over the coals and cop a hefty ban and fine.

Fergie and Man U has been getting away with murder for years, look at Wenger getting sent to the stands for kicking a water bottle against Man U last season , and by whom oh yes, Mike Dean.
