I'm sorry, but the young Mig has left me feeling let down once too often. I feel the first goal was his for the saving, and was too easily beaten. Not even an afterthought of a dive, or hand out for that matter. I see him as particularly vulnerable at free kicks, granted RVP took it well, but I just wonder, what if ..... If Gordon is still a month or two away, I would like to see what Westwood has to offer and let Mig go back to finishing school. For me though, Bruce has 1 more game at Bolton. Only an away win will do for me..... defeat and the hook MUST come out I'm afraid. MON hmmm ..... NEVER for me. Reason = Anyone who has ever had ANY connections with the unwashed skunks up the road, it has always backfired and ended up in tears. MON was their player of the season on 1987/88 with 48 apps and 15 goals !!
I haven't seen a keeper so stiff and inflexible, for a young lad he only ever seems to reach the balls that are hit straight at him! (And even then he doesn't hold onto the ball.)
I have been saying this since day one about Mignolet. As a keeper my self I pick up on stuff, and as said above he is so stiff and does not know how to dive.... you will only exceed as a keeper if your flexible. Now look at this link for Westwood. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4xnpjsUqCI
Just watched replays of Arsenals goals, my opinion hasn't changed he is like a tailor's dummy with it's feet nailed to the ground. Larsson's brilliant goal their keeper at least tried to reach it but it was unstoppable.
OK so we are all in agreement. Westwood starts v Bolton. I like this democracy lark, ...... now where did I put SB's number .......
