quote... Everyone here still believes in themselves, and no one is sitting around, thinking we are not going to win any more matches. The mood in the dressing room is still positive, and evey player is convinced, we can get out of this, and finish the season well. That means finishing in the top ten, which has always been our aim. So that's mig, now saying positive things, now let them transfer them words into action, if they are as positive as they say, no reason why we can't get something at brum. Message to bruce, "ha'way steve be as positive as your lads please"
true mate but at least they are coming out and saying the things we want to here. another interview with bruce i just seen, but havn't made a thread about it, as i may seem like a witch-hunt, and i want him to succed. " 41 points should see us safe, i think" yes steve it should, but shouldn't we be aiming just a little higher.
Yeah they have been coming out the past few weeks and saying the kind of stuff we want to hear, but come match day its the same old story lately. I didnt see the interview with Brucie as im at work but if he's talking about how many points will make us safe im pretty disappointed in that, the aim was top 10 and here we are again looking at the bottom of the table worrying if we'll get sucked into the relegation dog fight, such a good start to the season and we have blown it big style.
yeah they have blown it, but i'm taking heart in what the players are saying, ok they have failed to act on their words so far, but i'm still believing all is not lost. if only bruce would do the same. bet if holloway was manager he wouldn't be so gloomy, that fella would still be saying europe here we come....
I live in hope that we could turn things around this weekend but following Sunderland Im used to being let down big style. Come Saturday evening I hope I've been proved wrong, 3points would be great and could be all we need to build on and restore the belief we had at the start of the season.
