looking at the first team midfield and wow theres a lot of good players in the squad. Gerrard Meireles Downing Adam Aqulilani Kuyt Lucas Henderson Cole Spearing I have no idea who will be playing in the first team (apart from Gerrard and Downing).. Any ideas on players and formations?
I think we'll start something along the lines of --------Lucas-------Adam---------- Kuyt--------Gerrard-------Downing Send Joe Cole/Poulsen on their way, send Spearing out on loan with an option to recall and then you have Meireles, Henderson and Aquilani on the bench?

I thought you would be playing Henderson on the starting 11 due to the price and the expectation for him to do well.
I'm miffed. The first names on my team sheet would be Gerrard, Lucas & Downing the rest its just... i dunno. even if we go for our midfield heavy 3-5-2 formation it causes issues in my mind as then we're over stocked for defence - it's awesome

he is on the bench. When the CB is injured he would be my first choice to come on as CB is his best position.
In a way we have loads too many players- certainly considering we are not in the europa league. I would be selling poulson either aquilani or merieles, jovanovic, insua, cole and then send shelvey out on loan with danny wilson too.
We're never happy. We moan when we haven't got enough cover, now we're moaning because we've got too many players and we want them all to be in the starting XI.
