I might not have mentioned this but David Moyes is the ideal choice for us.
    FACT
Anyway good luck Daws, tighten up the defence and midfield make us hard to beat, play yourself at left back it can’t be worse than drameh or the other tart.
    massive upset on the cards
    Double FACT
    City 2-1

    Coyle Jones Hughes Macca Drameh
    Slater Mehlem Simons Kamara
    Bedia

    First job, stop the rot....

Bedia will run more than Pedro.. I was thinking Giles but for his love affair with Boro...

Its scoring goals which is the huge problem - this season we have let in 23 goals in 17 games, which equates to 62 over a season - last season under Rosieball we let in 60, so almost identical - goals scored this season 16 which equates to 43 - last season we scored 68 - unfortunately we don't have any players that are capable of putting the ball in the net so our problems are much worse than employing a new manager - hopefully we make a coup[e of major signings ion January because we're going to need them

I do hope Omur is finally put in the middle and we have 2 proper wingers playing. We will then be back to seeing him at his best.

Middlesbrough, the depths & therefore the best place to start the reprisal.

Bouncebackability starts here. It’s the City way.

City 3-0 Doesn’t matter who this week.

Dream team for me (won’t happen):

    Pandur/Racioppi
    Usual back 4
Simons and Omur in the middle
Kamara and Longman on the wings
2 of Pedro, Bedia and Burstow up front.

    4-4-2. No playing out. UTT.

Longman was very effective last time Dawson was in temporary charge, the timing of his return to fitness is excellent.

Yep, and the 3-1 at Blackpool when Docherty lashed one in from the sea front.

I think the defensive performance was worse than the goals conceded stat makes it look. Because we always conceded first, that was enough to lose the game and opposing teams could sit back and shut up shop, and very often did. This probably reduced the amount of goals we conceded overall. The same is true for our attack - we often had chances in the first half but after inevitably falling behind the chances dried up, again because of the opposition sitting back. So whilst not conceding a huge number overall, conceding first in basically every game hurt us a lot, and we probably would've scored more if we could've stayed in games longer.

By the way, bring back the old Andy Dawson chant, not the dumbed-down, homogenised version that was sung last night.

Dawson will make it tighter at the back with a revolutionary 7-3-0 formation....Last seen in the Mike Phelan era. Plus introduce some much needed ****housery, and time wasting from minute one in an effort to bore Boro to death and come away with a credible 0-0

    Pandur
    Drameh Jones Hughes Giles

    Simons Peurta
    Mehlem

    Kamara Bedia Omur

I know Omur is best centrally but he's still better on the wing than our alternatives, I'd have him coming inside anyway and making room for Giles to overlap.

Ömür has been played in the middle this season and was ****e on every occasion.

5-0 Boro. Coyle and Jones to make 300 short passes between themselves.
