    ....announced that James Alabi has accepted the contracted that was offered.

    I saw him play for the U21s last week and he looks strong,composed and hard working....not sure he will be troubling the 4 main strikers for a first team place just yet but a decent signing in my opinion...for what it's worth.

    Whilst he might not currently be better than our other forwards, I reckon given his physical attributes he could be a decent impact sub, I don't really think we've had one of those since Danny Haynes

    if Varney can prove his fitness, I still think he could be worth giving a contract to, he's a good option wide and can also take the pressure off Murphy as the only target man

    Shame what happened with Varney but he won't be coming back, I think Pitman will be the impact sub more often than not that we speak of here.
