In the relegation zone and having just lost 5-1 at home to their local rivals, there was only one outcome. Be interesting to see who they go for.

Judging by the way the players defended yesterday it's going to need a magician to turn them around and I can't see it happening. What decent manager is wanting to go there? If we can't heavily beat Wolves, no matter who is in charge then we don't deserve a top 6 finish.

Its all conspiring against us this season (despite all this luck I keep hearing of). QPR we got after an influx of new players first window, then we got them again with new boss Hughes in charge, Spurs on Saturday after the trial and England links - whether it was a goodbye or players trying to keep him at Spurs we were on a hiding to nothing. Somebody has it in for us I swear.

Curbishley is forever throwing his hat in the ring, they must be chucking it back to him just as quick!

As Tiote and Cabaye are back, you'll have a huge boost too. The Wolves team is set up to play McCarthy's dreary tactics and if they come out with a new manager who tries to get them playing football or the team themselves try to play good football to impress their manager then you'll find it's a bonus that Mick's gone.

Must admit I few worries except Fletcher with regard to Wolves. I expect we'll win well. We just seem to be catching teams at times when they have an outside boost

What a brilliant plan. His arrival would guarantee victory.

"right lads I want you to go out there without any tactics, without any motivation, well basically without a ****ing clue, and bring me back 3 points for Newcastle"

I guess everybody that saw the lowlights on Saturday night knew what would be coming. Not in the least surprised.

Wolves hope to have a new manager in place for our game.

Mick must have known his time was up when the owner went in the dressing room to vent his anger.

I like Mick, even despite his dabbling in the dark side, Wolves are daft to sack him.
